
Dave has been raising money through direct response for worthy organizations for more than 40 years as a copy writer, creative director, and agency executive. Working for some of the nation’s largest direct response agencies, Dave’s experience includes mail, direct response television, and video and web-based fundraising. His clients have included a wide variety of grassroots advocacy groups, candidates and political committees, large associations, historical preservation and commemoration, think tanks and policy centers, and health charities. His commercial experience includes publishing, travel, automotive, health care, pharmaceuticals, insurance, and financial services.
Dave’s client experience prior to co-founding ClearWord Communications includes National Geographic, the Smithsonian, AARP, Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, the National Rifle Association, the National Restaurant Association, the Navy League, the United States Navy Memorial, the United States Mint, Johnson and Johnson, Colonial Williamsburg, Mount Vernon, Humana Health Care, and many others.
