Since 2007 Eric has played a key role at ClearWord as a specialist in high-dollar direct mail fundraising. In this time, he has helped develop successful programs and cultivate major donors for conservative non-profit organizations at both the national and state levels, including FreedomWorks, State Policy Network, The Club for Growth, CFACT, Ashbrook Center, Commonwealth Foundation (in Pennsylvania), Independence Institute (in Colorado), Mississippi Center for Public Policy, James Madison Institute (in Florida), Texas Public Policy Foundation, Congressional Prayer Caucus Foundation, The Center for Vision & Values at Grove City College, and others.

Before joining ClearWord in September 2007, Eric served for six years as the Director of Donor Relations for The Bill of Rights Institute, a national educational non-profit. Eric also launched a high-dollar donor cultivation program at the American Civil Rights Union, where he served as Director of Development.

Prior to entering the development world, Eric honed his copywriting skills through M. Stanton Evan’s National Journalism Center program and by interning as a writer for Human Events newspaper. He also served for three years as managing editor of Campus Report newspaper during employment at Accuracy in Academia.

Eric and his wife Bonnie live in Vienna, Virginia, and are the grateful parents of three wonderful children: Samuel, Margaret, and Rachel.
